GCHQ to deliver WES Caroline Haslett Lecture

GCHQ will deliver the keynote at the Women's Engineering Society's Caroline Haslett Lecture on Tuesday 8 December 2026. The evening takes place from 6pm to 9pm GMT at the Geological Society, Piccadilly, London, under WES's 2026 theme of Engineering Intelligence.

Alongside the lecture, WES will present its Professional Registration Journey Awards, including the Karen Burt Award for a newly qualified Chartered Engineer. The event brings together engineers, members, partners, professional engineering institutions and volunteers to recognise achievement and exchange experiences across the profession.

Attendance is free, but advance registration is essential. Engineers working towards professional registration, colleagues supporting their development and others interested in the future of engineering are invited to find out more and book through WES.
