Industrial chemists invited to share their work at SCI's 2027 meeting
Poster and speaker submissions close on 22 and 23 October respectively

Chemists working in industry have an opportunity to showcase their research at SCI's Chemist in Industry III, taking place on 25 February 2027 at Syngenta's Jealott's Hill site near Bracknell. The meeting is organised by SCI's Fine Chemicals group and Young Chemists' Panel.
The call spans pharmaceutical, agrochemical, materials, catalysis and other industrial applications. Proposed 30-minute talks should explain chemistry-led problem solving, with a maximum 100-word abstract, title and brief career history sent to conferences@soci.org by Friday 23 October 2026. Poster abstracts, limited to one A4 page, close a day earlier, on Thursday 22 October.
The programme includes talks, posters, a career retrospective, networking and the Chemist in Industry award. Early-bird registration runs until 15 January 2027, costing £35 for SCI members and £45 for non-members. Full submission guidance and booking are available from SCI.
