Stephen Metcalfe, Chair of the Parliamentary and Scientific Committee, has published a statement outlining the priorities for the science community as we trigger Article 50 and start our Brexit negotiations.

This statement was informed by advice and evidence from the research and innovation community. An evidence report summarising evidence and advice received has also been published today and a panel joined Stephen in parliament to discuss what action the UK must take now to send a bold, positive message that the UK is one of the best places in the world to research and innovate, and capture the benefits stemming from this to improve the lives of people all over the UK.
